GREENSBORO, NC – Nearly 5,000 victims of abuse and sexual assault got help in just the first year of Greensboro’s Family Justice Center.
17 service providers, from nurses to law enforcement to lawyers, work at the Family Justice Center to provide legal, social and health services. They work mostly with victims of domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse, and sexual assault.
The center’s mission is to empower family violence victims to live free from violence and abuse, and hold off accountable offenders to by providing easily accessible services in a single location.
Throughout the next year, the Family Justice Center offer even more resources to abuse victims. Their first goal is to expand legal services.
