This training will cover the steps of conducting a domestic violence forensic medical examination, including utilization of the Cal OES 2-502 form, history & physical examination (including head, neck, cranial nerve, and neurological examination), forensic photography, and screening for or diagnosis of strangulation, head injury, and traumatic brain injury.

This course will be taught by Dr. Sean Dugan, who has conducted hundreds of strangulation exams for adults and children and regularly testifies as an expert in cases involving strangulation in child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault cases.
