SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Greene County Family Justice Center (GCFJC) has applied for non-profit status as the Greene County Family Justice Center Alliance and is currently accepting donations to help serve victims of sexual and domestic violence in Greene County.

The Greene County Family Justice Center Alliance Fund is hosted by Community Foundation of the Ozarks, with money donated going directly to support the operation of the Family Justice Center’s services.

The Greene County Family Justice Center is based on a model recognized by the Department of Justice as a best practice in serving victims. This model helps victims and their families find many services they need in one place.

Through the guidance of the Alliance for Hope International, and in collaboration with community partners, the GCFJC opened in October 2018 in the second floor of the Greene County Judicial Courts facility at 1010 N. Boonville Ave. As of December 19th, 2018, the Center has served more than 300 victims of domestic and sexual violence.
