Camp HOPE America — California, Sonoma is currently enrolling the children in their area for camp and only have one spot left to fill! The children and their parents are excited about what this summer will hold for them.
In January, during the children’s winter break from school, Family Justice Center Sonoma County in Santa Rosa gathered their Camp HOPE America — California, Sonoma kids and took them all to a local center called Epicenter for the afternoon. There was food, drinks, bowling, games, and so much fun for all. It was a great chance to reconnect with the friends they had made at Camp HOPE America in 2017. There were a lot of high-fives going around the center as the children played and interacted with each other, and many of them talked about going back to camp in the summer.
One of the next activities they have planned for their group is a field trip to a wonderful place right in their own backyard. Forget Me Not Farms is “a haven for children and animals to bond and break the cycle of abuse.” Camp HOPE America — California, Sonoma believes it will be an incredible experience and a great time for the kids to get reacquainted with one another and to meet new campers as well. They are eager for the event at this location as they admire their mission and purpose.
“We anticipate a great day of fun to kick off the summer for our campers!” said Camp HOPE America — California, Sonoma Site Coordinator, Diane Traversi.
